Jon Senior Director
With over 30 years estate agency experience with the majority of those years spent in the Torbay area. Previously Jon has been a Director within Connells and Coast & Country properties in Paignton. His career has been entirely estate agency based but covering off all aspects including expertise in both Land and New Homes sales. He has successfully developed many professional estate agents over the years with an emphasis on ensuring house sellers achieve the best possible price a property can achieve. Jon's role is to ensure that Taylors continues to grow as the number 1 firm of estate agents throughout the Bay.
Leo Sales Director
With over 25 years experience exclusively based in Paignton, Leo has developed an expert knowledge of his town. Previously Leo has worked for both Barbets and Coast & Country properties in Paignton in the independent estate agency sector. Leo's understanding of property values is second to none within Paignton and the surrounding villages. He has and is widely recognised as a first class property professional and always finds the time to ensure our clients receive diligent and personal support in what is by many considered a highly stressful period in their lives. Leo's primary role within Taylors is to use his experience and expertise to ensure clients receive a marketing plan that ensures their property is handled with a first class service.
Becky Accounts Director
With over 25 years experience in the estate agency sector previously with Jon & Debbie in both Connells and Coast & Country. Becky had originally trained in branch administration and quickly was promoted through to Branch Management. She has a detailed knowledge base in all estate agency disciplines including Lettings Management, Financial Services and Agency Account Management. Becky's primary role is to ensure that Residential and Lettings work together seamlessly to ensure buyers whom purchase through Taylors for the intention of Letting are given expert advise.
Paula Residential Sales Manager
Paula has worked for Taylors for over 5 years now and has established herself as the Top Selling negotiator not only in our business, but also in all of Paignton, out-selling all of our competitor’s staff. Paula sticks to our buyers like glue, not wanting to let anybody go until she has found them the perfect property. Previously, Paula worked overseas in the travel industry for over 20 years where she developed her tenacity for getting the job done. She always brings a personal approach to business that has led to many returning customers.
Rosie Lead Secretary/Administrator
Rose is an integral member of the Taylors team, providing the back-bone of administration to ensure that our marketing material is both accurate and eye-catching. Previously, Rose has worked in the IT industry and has a professional knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and the digital media sector, critical to a 21st century Estate Agency business. Rose has an exceptionally caring approach to all of our clients which is immediately recognisable when speaking to her. Often our feedback mentions her polite approach and patience, which is necessary in a stressful period for buyers and sellers alike.
Sam Sales Negotiator
Sam is a first-class sales negotiator who has a diligent approach towards finding our buyers the right property. Always enthusiastic and keen to impress, Sam has grown into one of our very best sales people having previously relocated from Birmingham where he was a chef.
Gabi Trainee Negotiator
Gabi is Taylor’s newest recruit, having joined us from the catering industry. She is often the first to answer the phone and is a very keen and able member of our team. Gabi will be delighted to help with any customer enquiries.
Meet The Torquay Team
Debbie Sales Progression Director
With over 25 years of experience in the estate agency sector. Debbie as with Jon and Becky has previously worked in both Connells and Coast & Country properties of which the majority of those years has been working out of the Torquay and Paignton. Debbie's experience and 'care mentality' approach to all of Taylors clients has made her a for runner in her field and exclusively works on ensuring that when a sale has been successfully agreed that it is progressed through, working with the solicitors, surveyors and clients to a successful completion. With most sales typically taking between 8 to 10 weeks to exchange contracts. It is critical that our clients are at all times kept up to date with how their sale is progressing. Debbie delivers exceptional customer care and stands really to assist all our clients with up to date information as to where the property sits in the sales progression process for both our Paignton and Torquay offices.
Glenn Branch Manager
Glenn joined Taylors in 2017 having spent the pervious 22 years working with 2 of the UK's largest corporate estate agents within Torbay and South Devon. Glenn has been keen to get into independent estate agency and brings with him wealth of local knowledge living and growing up in Torquay. Glenn's role within Taylors is the day to day management of the Torquay office residential team. Glenn is very hands on and enjoys working with sellers to deliver a first-rate service with the aim of achieving the very best selling price possible in a time frame to suit.
Steph Sales Manager
Steph is a very experienced estate agent having worked for the past 16 years for both corporate and independent estate agents within Torbay and South Devon. Steph joined Taylors in June 2016 and her primary role is to carry out valuations and place properties onto the market ensuring they sell for the best price possible. Steph is extremely customer services orientated and committed to providing the best customer experience possible. She regularly gets top rated reviews left by very satisfied customers and has quickly become one of our star performers.
Ellie Senior Sales Negotiator
Ellie is a market leading sales person and is guaranteed to put 100% effort into selling any of Taylors available properties. She has worked in estate agency for 3 years and was previously employed by a national chain of estate agents where she was their top salesperson. Ellie has always wanted to work for an independent estate agent and as a top salesperson she only wanted to work for the top agent in Torbay. Ellie will bend over backwards to help as nothing is too much trouble. She is a real asset to Taylors and her friendly professional approach is second to none.
Hollie Administrator
Hollie joined the Paignton office of Taylors in 2019 as a sales negotiator, but is now based within our Torquay office as the office administrator. Hollie is always being complimented by our customers for her bright and bubbly nature as she is always very keen to offer all of our clients the best customer experience possible. Helpful and positive, she represents part of what makes Taylors the number one selling agent in Torbay.
Meet The Lettings Team
Josh Lettings Manager
Josh joined Taylors in 2016 having worked previously for Connells as an experienced Lettings Manager. Prior to that Josh was a university graduate and has passed his ARLA examination. Josh, as a specialist Lettings Manager, has been instrumental in building Taylors Lettings into the successful business it is today. His detailed knowledge and proven track record within the industry makes him the perfect agent for guiding you through the lettings process. From the valuation of your property through to the check out of your tenant, his experience and expertise are invaluable in this heavily regulated sector.
Tasha Property Manager
Tasha joined Taylors in 2019 as an apprentice property manager, having previously worked in the social housing sector. She has extensive experience in customer service roles, ranging from working within the emergency services, to being a teaching assistant. Tash has rapidly progressed, gaining great knowledge of the lettings within her short time here. She has built up a fantastic relationship with both tenants and landlords, admirably ensuring that each of the properties in our portfolio are maintained to the highest standard. She is set for a bright future at Taylors.
Yazmin Lettings Negotiator
Joining the team from a competitor in 2018, Yazmin has completed apprenticeships in both sales and lettings, gaining invaluable and extensive knowledge of both sectors in the process. Now a full and valued member of the team, Yazmin won’t hesitate to go the extra mile to ensure that she secures the very best tenant for your property as quickly as possible. With her friendly demeanour and expertise in negotiation, she is able to ensure a smooth letting process from viewing through to move in. Yazmin’s customer service skills were a key factor in our most recent British Property Awards win for lettings agents in Torquay, achieving top marks when approached by a secret shopper.
Pip Lettings Co-ordinator
Pip joined Taylors at the beginning of 2017 initially in the residential department. It soon became clear that her detail-oriented method of working made her ideal for the vacant co-ordinator role within the lettings department. As a consequence, at the end of 2017 she transferred across. Following the transfer, Pip has become an invaluable asset to the lettings team. Her organisational skills and keen sense of customer care have made her a customer favourite, regularly featuring in our glowing reviews. Eager to learn, she is currently undertaking her ARLA examinations in order to progress her legal knowledge of the sector.
